Ashley Cole to switch to Los Angeles Galaxy?

Ashley Cole has reportedly all but agreed a switch to MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.

It is believed that the former England left-back has been informed that he can leave Roma on a free transfer next month, having not featured for the Italian club all season.

Aston Villa have been linked with a move for the 35-year-old in recent weeks, but The Sun has claimed that a switch to LA is more appealing to Cole.

The reports adds that the deal could be concluded as early as the first week of January.
