Preview: Monaco vs. Reims

Sports Mole previews Friday's Ligue clash between Monaco and Reims at the Stade Louis II.

Monaco can make it three consecutive wins in Ligue 1 on Friday night when they welcome Reims to the Stade Louis II.

Leonardo Jardim's side have had an indifferent start to the campaign, but a recent upturn in form has seen them climb up to eighth place in the table.

However, last season's runners-up are still eight points behind leaders Marseille after 11 matches.

Meanwhile, 14th-placed Reims can move further away from trouble if they build on their unbeaten run of three games.

The visitors, who are currently managed by former Paris Saint-Germain defender Jean-Luc Vasseur, have picked up seven points from a possible nine in recent weeks.

Monaco will be without the injured trio of Dimitar Berbatov, Layvin Kurzawa and Joao Moutinho, while Franck Signorino and Prince Oniangue are both available for Reims after serving respective suspensions.

Recent form

Monaco: LDDWDW
