Robert Pires's seven-year-old son Theo signs for Arsenal academy

The son of former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires has signed for the Gunners' academy.

Theo Pires, seven, will now have the chance to follow in his father's footsteps at the Emirates Stadium.

Pires Sr, who won two Premier League titles during six years at Arsenal, confirmed the news on Instagram.

That´s it ! Theo signed for the Arsenal Academy!!! Well done son!!!! #proud

The 42-year-old also played for French clubs Marseille and Metz, Spanish outfit Villarreal, then-Premier League side Aston Villa and Indian club FC Goa.
