Agent: 'Arsenal, Real Madrid want Jorginho'

The agent of Napoli midfielder Jorginho has claimed that both Arsenal and Real Madrid are interested in signing his client at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has made 26 Serie A appearances for Napoli this term and has played a key role in their title challenge.

Joao Santos, Jorginho's representative, has claimed that Arsenal have a firm interest in the midfielder and "compliments" have also arrived from Real Madrid.

"Interest from Arsenal? It's true. After the game against Palermo, compliments arrived from Real Madrid as well," Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss. "Only compliments, nothing more. But it's pleasing to receive expressions of respect from one of the most prestigious clubs in the world."

Jorginho, who was born in Brazil, joined Napoli from Verona in 2014.
