Team News: Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez return for Arsenal to face Manchester City

Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez return to the Arsenal XI to face Manchester City.

Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez have been named in the Arsenal starting XI to face Manchester City in this evening's pre-season friendly at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.

The attacking duo are back in action after extended summer breaks following their international exploits with Wales and Chile respectively.

Alex Iwobi starts in place of Theo Walcott up front, while summer recruit Rob Holding, who joined the club from Bolton Wanderers, gets the nod at the back.

Pep Guardiola's City have also named a strong lineup for their final pre-season fixture, with flagship signing Nolito partnering Sergio Aguero up top.

Raheem Sterling adds width to the Sky Blues' attack, while Fabian Delph provides support for Fernandinho in the centre of the park.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Gabriel, Holding, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Iwobi, Sanchez

Manchester City: Caballero, Zabaleta, Fernando, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Silva, Delph, Nolito, Sterling, Aguero
