Arsene Wenger: Fabio Capello should make John Terry decision
Arsene Wenger believes that it should be up to Fabio Capello to decide whether John Terry should remain as England captain amid allegations of racial abuse.
The Chelsea captain is due to stand trial a week after the European Championships this July on charges of racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.
The court date has prompted the Football Association to consider dropping the 31-year-old from the England captaincy before a verdict is made.
Wenger told reporters: "I don't know the Terry case well, I just think it is the manager who names the captain."
Capello is said to be keen on keeping Terry as the Three Lions skipper as the centre-back has yet to be proven guilty of racism allegations.
