"A knock" picked up in training may keep Danny Welbeck out of England's friendly against Norway at Wembley.

New Arsenal signing Danny Welbeck may miss England's friendly encounter against Norway tomorrow night through injury.

Manager Roy Hodgson revealed to the press this afternoon that the 23-year-old, who completed his switch to the Gunners from Manchester United last night, "received a knock" during today's training session.

"Unfortunately in training today he received a knock in the session. I would be very disappointed if he could not play because of what happened with the last kick of the session," said the Three Lions boss.

Welbeck has scored eight goals during his 28 appearances for England.
