Coach: 'Tom Daley can still improve'

Jane Figueiredo has said that there is still room for improvement in Tom Daley's diving.

Figueiredo will coach the 19-year-old British Olympic bronze medallist for the Rio Olympics in 2016.

"There are some things technically we need to improve on but that's just me being a critical coach," she told BBC Sport. "He is a massive talent.

"Having worked with the Russian girls, I couldn't think of anything more exhilarating or more fun than to work with someone who takes diving to a whole new level - we are shooting for that gold."

Figueiredo worked with British divers at the 1996 Atlanta Games and has helped Russian divers to six Olympic medals.
