PDC announces 2016 Premier League lineup

The PDC reveals the 10 players that will feature in the 2016 Premier League, with a debut being handed to world number eight Michael Smith.

World number eight Michael Smith has been included in the 10-man lineup for the 2016 Premier League.

The St Helens thrower is the sole debutant for the next campaign, which begins in Leeds on February 4.

World champion and last year's Premier League winner Gary Anderson headlines the event, while Michael van Gerwen, Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor complete the players ranked in the top four in the PDC Order of Merit.

As well as Smith, wildcard places have also been handed to Peter Wright, James Wade, Robert Thornton, Raymond van Barneveld and Dave Chisnall.
