West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels: 'Ben Stokes doesn't learn'

West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels hits out at "nervous" Ben Stokes following his costly final over in the World Twenty20 final in India.

West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has hit out at Ben Stokes by claiming that the England all-rounder "doesn't learn".

Stokes was hit for four sixes in a row by Carlos Brathwaite in the last over of Sunday's World Twenty20 final.

The West Indies, who defeated England in the group phase of the tournament in India, needed 19 off the last six balls of the innings, and they managed to obtain them in dramatic fashion.

Stokes was visibly upset after the match, but Samuels, who was fined 30% of his match fee for verbally abusing the all-rounder in the showdown, has added salt to the wound.

In his post-match press conference, Samuels told reporters: "Stokes is nervous. He doesn't learn. We keep telling him when we play against him do not speak to me because I'm going to perform."

Samuels scored 85 runs from 66 balls.
