English cricketer Adrian St John 'shot dead in Caribbean'

Promising cricketer Adrian St John has reportedly been shot dead in an armed robbery while on holiday in the Caribbean.

It is believed that the 22-year-old Londoner, who was captain of the Chris Gayle Academy, died on Sunday evening.

West Indies legend Gayle has since passed on his condolences to St John's family.

Reports have claimed that a 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
