Brett Favre likens Johnny Manziel to himself

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has admitted that former Texas A&M Aggies QB Johnny Manziel is a lot like himself at college level.

Favre said that Manziel, who has been tipped with a Draft move to the Houston Texans this year, has most impressed him with his attitude and he believes that he could be a winner.

"I almost thought I was watching film of a young Brett Favre," he told USA Today.

"I didn't think I did a lot of things well [in college], but he did. And I liked the attitude of 'whatever it takes.' From that standpoint, I liked him."

Favre also played for the Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings in his career.
