The Dolphins took the lead on their first drive of the game as Ryan Tannehill moved his side down the field before Jarvis Landry took the handoff on a fake throw and ran 22 yards for the touchdown.

Tennessee responded as Marcus Mariota completed a series of passes to move his side into field-goal range and Ryan Succop powered his kick through the posts from 37 yards.

Miami restored their seven-point advantage when Tannehill moved his side into the redzone once again, but this time the Titans' defense made a crucial stop to force them into a field goal. Andrew Franks was able to kick a 30-yarder between the posts.

The AFC East side extended their lead in the second quarter when Lamar Miller got the handoff and he plowed his way through the line to find the endzone with a seven-yard touchdown run.

In the third quarter, the Dolphins took control of the match when Mariota was picked off by Reshad Jones and the defensive back returned the ball all the way for the 30-yard touchdown.

Tennessee gave themselves a glimmer of hope of getting back into the contest when Mariota drove them back downfield to the goalline before firing a strike to Dexter McCluster.

Campbell's men secured the win as Tannehill threw for his first touchdown of the game by finding tight end Dion Sims in the endzone for a two-yard score.

There was time for the AFC East side to cap the victory with another touchdown as Tannehill notched his second strike of the match when he found Jordan Cameron to improve his side's record to 2-3 in their season.
