Cleveland Browns tipped for London move

The co-founder of a leading bookmaker tips the Cleveland Browns to make a permanent relocation to London within five years.

The co-founder of one of the leading bookmakers has backed the Cleveland Browns to permanently relocate to London within five years.

The NFL's popularity in the UK and Europe has been on the rise for several years and three regular-season games are currently played in the British capital every year.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving party last night, Steve Baumohl of bookmakers Redzone predicted that a franchise would be based in London "within four to five years".

"I have a sneaky feeling about a team," he said. "I think there's a chance the Cleveland Browns could come over. It could be the perfect time for them to come over."

The Browns, who have lost every game of the season so far, have yet to play a fixture as part of the international series in London.
