Seth Rollins turns heel to break The Shield up

WWE's Monday Night Raw ended with The Shield officially breaking up.

The 'Hounds of Justice' recorded a 3-0 victory over Evolution in their elimination main event of the Payback pay-per-view on Sunday, but the split was confirmed when Seth Rollins turned on teammates Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at the end of Raw.

Reigns was contesting the evening's main event against Randy Orton when Rollins struck him with a chairshot, before hitting a Curbstomp on fellow Shield member Ambrose.

Raw went off air with Triple H, Orton and Rollins standing over the remaining two members of The Shield, after Batista had earlier quit the WWE.
