Big Show happy with WWE's PG-rated product

WWE superstar Big Show claims that the current PG-rated product is the correct business model for the company, despite criticism from long-term fans.

WWE superstar Big Show has claimed that the company's 'PG Era' is good for business.

The organisation have been repeatedly criticised by long-term fans for their current family-friendly product, with many clamouring for a return to the league's most successful period in the late 1990s that was defined as the 'Attitude Era'.

However, the former world champion believes that the current model is the right one.

Speaking to pwmania.com, the grappler, whose real name is Paul Wight, said: "The business has completely evolved, when I started in 1995, it was like rock and roll. We couldn't do anything wrong.

"The arenas were sold out. Our boss took good advantage of that and started building for the future. WWE went from teenage material to young adult to more family oriented which I think is a great move for our company.

"Nowadays it's hard to get families together to watch a programme. Our product is something that everyone can watch. I like to shake my big butt and make the kids laugh. it's a good feeling."

The seven-foot, 500lbs Big Show, who is billed as the 'World's Largest Athlete' is expected to be involved in Wrestlemania XXX in April.
