Bad News Barrett doubtful for 'Money in the Bank'?

WWE Intercontinental champion Bad News Barrett is likely to be withdrawn from Money in the Bank after suffering a separated shoulder at this week's Smackdown tapings.

WWE Intercontinental champion Bad News Barrett suffered a separated shoulder at this week's SmackDown tapings.

The Brit had been tipped to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in Boston on Sunday, but he is unlikely to be able to participate after sustaining the injury after being thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger.

Physician Dr Chris Amann told WWE's official website: "Barrett sustained an injury to his right shoulder when he was thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger.

"After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop, we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder. We're going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him to talk about options for treatment for this injury."

Barrett has been a member of the WWE roster since 2010.
