Azerbaijan wrestler Anzhela Dorogan clinches gold in Baku

Anzhela Dorogan has claimed gold for Azerbaijan in the women's 53kg freestyle wrestling at the European Games this afternoon.

The 25-year-old beat Poland's Roksana Zasina 3-1 in the final to claim her country's eighth gold of the tournament.

Dorogan cruised to the final after comfortably beating Natalia Budu in the semi-final, while Zasina advanced after a 3-0 win over Belarus's Nadzeya Shushko.

Shushko overcame her disappointment to claim bronze with a 5-0 victory over Liliya Horishna, but Budu was unsuccessful in the other bronze match, losing 5-0 to Turkey's Merve Kenger.
