Alan Khugaev wins 84kg wrestling gold

Russia's Alan Khugaev has beaten Karam Ebrahim of Egypt to win gold in the men's 84kg Greco-Roman wrestling.

Khugaev comfrotably won the first two periods to take the win 3-0, forcing Emrahim to settle for silver.

Danyal Gajiyev of Kazakhstan won bronze in the first bronze-medal bout against Georgia's Vladimer Gegeshidze after winning a successful challenge in the third period to take it 3-1.

The second bronze medal went to Damian Janukowski of Poland against France's Melonin Noumonvi.

The gold is Russia's second in Olympic wrestling in London.
