Great Britain fall to Greece in women's water polo Group A fixture

Great Britain have suffered a 20-2 defeat in their Group A women's water polo clash with Greece at the 2015 European Games in Baku.

Greece have long been touted as one of the favourites in the tournament and they proved too strong for Izzy Dean and her teammates with a commanding display at the Water Polo Arena.

Team GB were perhaps undone by the dominance of Greece's attacking prowess, as Stefanos Leandros's side were able to register a total of 33 attempts in comparison to their opponents' 19.

Britain's Hanna Edwards has already made clear that it would be a great achievement for her side to finish in the top 10 at the European showpiece.
