Nick Buller proud despite Great Britain's opening water polo defeat

Great Britain women's water polo coach Nick Buller praises his side despite their 20-2 opening-game defeat to Greece at the 2015 European Games in Baku.

Great Britain women's water polo coach Nick Buller has heaped praise on his side despite their heavy opening loss to Greece at the 2015 European Games in Baku.

Buller's side were beaten 20-2 at the Water Polo Arena following a strong attacking display from one of the tournament's major favourites, but the GB coach has been keen to highlight that his side never gave up in the face of defeat.

"This was what we expected from previous tournaments. It was tough, but I was proud with how they kept going," said Buller, according to the official Baku 2015 website.

"What I look for is passing and never giving up and that is what they showed."

Britain will now have their sights set on trying to pick up results against the likes of the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and Israel.
