Non Stanford: 'Whole season is riding on World Triathlon Grand Final'

Non Stanford admits that her whole season has been built around producing her best performance at the World Triathlon Grand Final on Friday.

Non Stanford has admitted that she is eager to secure qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games before next season.

On Friday, Stanford, as well as Vicky Holland, will bid for a top-three position in the World Triathlon Grand Final in Chicago, and Stanford has revealed that she has been thinking about the race since the start of the year.

The 26-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "The whole season has been built around qualifying for the Olympics.

"It all comes down to this race if I want to get the qualification done and dusted now."

In the men's event, Jonny Brownlee will also attempt to book his place in Rio de Janeiro.
