Great Britain's Bryony Page has won her country's first ever trampolining medal with silver at the Rio Olympics this evening.

Page and teammate Kat Driscoll had already made history by becoming the first two Brits to appear in an Olympic trampolining final, and Page went one better by getting herself on the podium.

The 25-year-old led the way following her routine and was soon joined by Driscoll, with the two Team GB members holding on to the top two spots at one point.

However, Canada's reigning Olympic and world champion Rosie MacLennan pipped her to the top prize in Rio.

China's Dan Li made up the podium by finishing in third, while Driscoll ended up fifth in the standings.
