Team GB's Lutalo Muhammad thrashed by Azerbaijani Milad Beigi Harchegani

Team GB taekwondo player Lutalo Muhammad has lost in the -80kg quarter-final to Azerbaijan's Milad Beigi Harchegani.

After trailing the first round 3-1, Muhammad made his task even more difficult in the second round when the score stretched to 13-5.

Beigi Harchegani picked up a number of penalty points, and was in danger of throwing the fight away, but a head kick in the third round took him 12 points clear of Muhammad and the fight was over.

Muhammad still has a chance to win the bronze medal, and will compete in the repechage this evening.
