Aaron Cook pledges allegiance to Isle of Man

Former taekwondo world number one Aaron Cook has changed his allegiance from Great Britain to the Isle of Man.

The 21-year-old was recently overlooked by the British Olympic Association for the London Games in favour of Lutalo Muhammad.

Cook lost an appeal against his omission before choosing not to pursue the issue in the High Court.

The European champion in the -80kg category recently warned the BOA that he was considering a change of allegiance in order to realise his dream of competing in an Olympics.
