British table tennis hopeful Paul Drinkhall through to third round in Baku

Team GB's Drinkhall through to third round

Great Britain's Paul Drinkhall has reached the third round of the men's table tennis singles after victory over Adam Pattantyus at the European Games.

Drinkhall fought back from 2-1 down to clinch the second-round match 4-2 against Hungary's Pattantyus.

The 25-year-old will play Slovenia's Bojan Tokic tomorrow morning for a place in the quarter-final.

Drinkhall's Team GB compatriot Liam Pitchford is in action later this afternoon.
