Great Britain to fight for medal in men's 4x200m freestyle relay final

Great Britain's men qualify third fastest for the 4x200m freestyle relay final at the World Championships in Kazan.

Great Britain have a chance of claiming their second relay medal at the World Championships in Kazan after the men's 4x200m freestyle team qualified for tonight's final.

Robbie Renwick, Nick Grainger, Daniel Wallace and Duncan Scott clocked an overall time of 7:09.00 to qualify third fastest for the showdown.

After the first leg, Renwick pushed GB into the lead, but after Grainger's 200m contribution, the USA edged slightly ahead.

A strong finish from Wallace held off the charge of Australia to put Britain back into the lead, leaving Scott to anchor the team home, but he dipped behind slightly to touch the wall in third place behind the Aussies and Americans.

Australia lead the field overall with a heat time of 7:08.40, while the USA are second.
