Britain win medals on day one of Junior Champs

Great Britain have taken gold and silver on day one of the World Junior Swimming Championships in Singapore.

Rosie Rudin set a new world junior and championship record on her way to winning the 400m individual medley final in 4:39.01.

The swimmer's fellow Brit Georgia Coates touched the wall less than a second behind her to claim the silver medal.

In the men's 400m freestyle final, Cameron Kurle missed out on a podium place after finishing fifth.
