Britain into men's 4x100m medley final

Great Britain have secured a spot in the final of the men's 4x100m medley relay at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.

Chris Walker-Hebborn, Ross Murdoch, Adam Barrett and Ben Proud finished second in their heat in Kazan this morning, leaving them sixth overall.

The USA were the quickest team in the heat, with Ryan Lochte swimming the anchor leg to give the Americans a time of 3:31.06, which was just 0.80 seconds ahead of Australia, who were second.

France, who won the gold in the same event two years ago, finished third.
