Peaty impresses at Flanders Cup

Great Britain's Adam Peaty was one of the stars of the Flanders Cup in Antwerp at the weekend by clinching the 100m breaststroke final in a time of 59.48s.

The 20-year-old's personal best is 58.68, but the Brit showed how much he has improved from last year's time of 1:00.73 at the meet.

Hungary's Daniel Gyurta clinched second in 1:00.65, while Peaty's fellow countryman Craig Benson finished third in 1:02.07.

In the 200m individual medley, Britain's Siobhan-Marie O'Connor went up against Katinka Hosszu of Hungary, but the former fell short by finishing second in 2:10.84.

Hosszu took top spot in a time of 2:10.36, while O'Connor's teammate Aimee Willmott hit the wall third in 2:13.28.
