Brits take six golds in Canet leg of Mare Nostrum Series

Adam Peaty and Jazz Carlin help Great Britain claim six swimming gold medals in the Canet leg of the Mare Nostrum Series.

Great Britain's Adam Peaty and Jazz Carlin were among the gold medallists in the Canet leg of the Mare Nostrum Series.

Six golds were won by Brits over the weekend and Peaty nabbed two of them by winning the 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke.

Carlin claimed the top spot on the podium twice by winning the 1500m freestyle final and 400m freestyle, while Hannah Miley took gold in the 400m individual medley.

James Guy added to Britain's gold-medal tally by surging to victory in the 400m freestyle, while Aimee Willmott, Chris Walker-Hebborn and Ben Proud came home with bronze medals.
