Jonathan Fox wins gold in S7 100m backstroke

Jonathan Fox has won gold for Great Britain in the S7 100m backstroke, despite not matching his qualification time.

Fox led from the start and built a huge advantage, but despite being reined in slightly he held on with a time of 1:10.46.

Ukrainian Yevheniy Bohodayko claimed silver with a time of 1:11.31 and Mihovil Spanja got bronze for Croatia.

It was Great Britain's first gold medal in the pool.
