Great Britain's Oliver Hynd, Sam Hynd cruise into men's SM8 200m medley final

Great Britain's Oliver and Sam Hynd ease into the men's SM8 200m medley final after finishing their heat first and second respectively.

Great Britain's Paralympic brothers Oliver and Sam Hynd have booked places in the final of the men's SM8 200m medley.

The British pair finished first and second in the third heat of the race, despite starting off slowly in the first leg of the pool.

Konstantin Lisenkov of Russia started off strong and took a big lead before the first turn in the pool but the British duo began to thrive on the breaststroke leg and stormed to the finish on the freestyle.

Oliver came in first with a time of 2:27.95, while his brother Sam finished the race in 2:28.88. The pair's compatriot Thomas Young failed to qualify for the final after clocking the fourth-fastest time in the opening heat.
