Gold for Heather Frederiksen in S8 100m backstroke

Heather Frederiksen has won gold for Great Britain in the S8 100m backstroke final.

Frederiksen got a decent start and managed to turn ahead of her closest challenger Jessica Long of the United States.

Jessica's time was 1:17.00, more than a second-and-a-half up on Long's 1:18.67.

Bronze went to Olesya Vladykina of Russian Federation, who led in the first length, as she touched the wall in 1:20.20.
