Hannah Miley claims silver at World Championships

Hannah Miley has won the silver medal in the 400m individual medley at the World Championships.

The 21-year-old touched in four minutes 34.22 seconds, ahead of Australian Olympic champion Stephanie Rice, who settled for bronze.

"This is the closest things to the Olympics. I'm so happy," said Garioch swimmer Miley.

American Elizabeth Beisel took gold in Shanghai, clocking a time of four minutes 31.78 seconds.
