Robbie Renwick breaks Scottish record to qualify for Games

Robbie Renwick has broken the Scottish 400m freestyle record to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Renwick, 23, recorded a time of 3:46.73 to secure his spot in Team GB for the second consecutive Games.

In the same race, Dave Carry and Ieuan Lloyd came second and third with times of 3:48.36 and 3:48.86 respectively.

Their times weren't quite quick enough to ensure a spot in the GB swimming team, but they will get another chance to qualify at the ASA Nationals.
