Roberto Pavoni and Joe Roebuck qualify for Olympics

Roberto Pavoni and Joe Roebuck have secured their places in the British Olympic swimming team after winning gold and silver respectively in the 400m individual medley at the British Championships.

Pavoni recorded a personal best time of 4:12.43 to grab the gold medal, while Joe Roebuck's time of 4:12.48 was also enough to book his place for the 2012 Games.

16-year-old Matthew Johnson won the bronze medal in a promising display, but missed out on a spot in the London Olympic team.
