Rubacek handed two-year ban

Czech swimmer Michal Rubacek has been given a two-year suspension for testing positive for the banned stimulant methylhexanamine.

The 25-year-old, who holds the Czech 50m and 100m butterfly records, was handed the ban by his own federation.

As a result of the ban, Rubacek will be prevented from competing at the Olympic Games in London later this year.

Rubacek has previously competed in the last two Olympics in Athens and Beijing.
