World champion Alexander Dale Oen has died at a training camp in Arizona after suffering a reported cardiac arrest.

The 26-year-old was found collapsed on the floor of his bathroom yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to the Flagstaff Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead. The hospital has yet to give any further details.

Dale Oen had been one of Norway's top medal hopes for the Olympic Games in London later this year.
