Judd Trump out of UK Championship

World number one Judd Trump has been stunned in the first round of the UK Championship with a 6-5 defeat to Mark Joyce.

The defending champion had led 5-2 at the Barbican in York before world number 50 Joyce launched a stunning comeback.

Joyce's previous best at the tournament in York was a quarter-final appearance in 2010.

Trump, 23, won last year's competition with a 10-8 victory over Mark Allen in the final.
