Mark Williams to face Ronnie O'Sullivan

Mark Williams has set up a second-round tie with Ronnie O'Sullivan after a 10-6 win over Liu Chuang at the World Championship in Sheffield.

The two-time champion got himself into a 9-3 lead before Chuang made life difficult for the Welshman.

The 21-year-old Chinese competitor claimed the next three frames as Williams struggled to close out the match.

However, the 37-year-old clinched the decisive frame to book his place in the next round.

Williams has lost on all three occasions that he has previously played O'Sullivan at the Crucible.
