Neil Robertson through to quarter-finals

World number three Neil Robertson has reached the quarter-finals of the World Championship with a 13-9 win over David Gilbert.

The Australian was impressive in Thursday's opening session at the Crucible to take a 5-3 lead before another strong showing put him 10-6 ahead.

Despite a gallant display from qualifier Gilbert, Robertson eased through the final three frames of Friday's session to book his place in the next round.

The 2010 champion will now face either Ronnie O'Sullivan or Mark Williams for a place in the last four.
