Samsung unveil their star-studded Galaxy 11 football squad as they prepare for a showdown match to stop aliens from invading the planet.

Samsung have unveiled their star-studded football squad for their Galaxy 11 campaign, which will involve the team competing in a showdown match to prevent an alien invasion.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi, who has been named captain, was one of the first to be recruited by Samsung, who announced new signings over the course of the last few months.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo will team up with his Barcelona rival, while Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Chelsea playmaker Oscar have also been called into the squad, which is being coached by Franz Beckenbauer.

Mario Gotze, Wu Lei, Stephan El Shaarawy, Victor Moses and Radamel Falcao have joined the Galaxy 11 outfit, while Lee Chung-Yong, Iker Casillas, Landon Donovan and Aleksandr Kerzhakov complete the squad.

The campaign will provide fans with updates on the squad's progress ahead of the match against an alien side, with the next phase showing the team in training.
