Zurich defender Loris Benito was left wounded when a pine marten charged the pitch during a Swiss Super League game against FC Thun.

The animal managed to skip past players and match officials, who were trying to remove the creature from the field until Benito grabbed hold of it.

In response, the animal bit the defender's finger, which needed treatment before the players continued with the game.
