Video: Behind the scenes of NatWest T20 cricket ball space launch

Behind-the-scenes footage is released of how the ECB sent a cricket ball to the 'edge of space' to mark the start of the NatWest T20 season.

The England and Wales Cricket Board marked the start of the new NatWest T20 series by sending a cricket ball to the 'edge of space' last week.

The ball was launched from Edgbaston in Birmingham and rose to an altitude of 110,000 ft via a helium balloon.

A camera captured the ball's journey until it parachuted back to the ground in Newbury, Berkshire, and now behind-the-scenes footage has been released.
