ParalympicsGB team up with ASOS for Rio 2016

ASOS will design the formal and ceremony wear for ParalympicsGB at the Rio 2016 Games.

The British Paralympic Association has announced a partnership with online clothing retailer ASOS for the Rio 2016 Paralympics.

ParalympicsGB will don formal and ceremony wear designed by ASOS when the curtain lifts on the Paralympics in just over 500 days' time.

"I'm sure our athletes will be just as excited about this announcement as we are and they'll be keen to discover what they'll be wearing in Rio when they swap their tracksuits for formal wear," ParalympicsGB chef de mission Penny Briscoe said.

"ASOS are an established, dynamic brand and our athletes will exude confidence wearing their designs. We'll be sending out the right message to the rest of the world when the team marches into the stadium."

The Rio 2016 Paralympics will be the 15th Summer Games for disabled athletes.
