Team GB cycling duo Laura Trott, Jason Kenny announce engagement

Great Britain cycling duo Laura Trott and Jason Kenny have announced their engagement.

The pair, who have five Olympic gold medals between them, took to Twitter on Christmas Day to reveal the news, with Trott posting: "Merry Christmas everyone :) ive had the most amazing couple of days thanks to @JasonKenny107 and the whole family 😘 💍 #engaged X."

Both riders won two golds at the London Olympics in 2012, with Kenny, 26, claiming the team sprint and individual sprint titles, while Trott, 22, stormed to victory in the team pursuit and omnium.

Kenny's other gold came in the team sprint in Beijing four years earlier.
