In-form Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane has been inundated with marriage proposals following his heroics against Chelsea on Thursday.

The 21-year-old grabbed a brace and created another as Spurs kicked off 2015 in style with a 5-3 win over the Premier League leaders at White Hart Lane.

As well as stealing the headlines, Kane appears to have stolen the hearts of the opposite sex as the youngster was flooded with requests on Twitter.

One fan wrote: "@hkane28 I'm a lardy middle-aged supporter who's already married - but will you marry me - you absolute bloody marvel! #COYS."
