Wanyama's home 'raided by burglars'

Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has reportedly had thousands of pounds' worth of items stolen from his home.

The burglary is said to have taken place while the 23-year-old was playing for Southampton in their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the Midlands on Monday night.

According to the Daily Mail, police have launched an investigation after designer clothes, TV sets, a Range Rover worth around £60,000 and 20 pairs of shoes were stolen from his home.

Mementos from the midfielder's time at Celtic, as well as a Barcelona shirt from Andres Iniesta was also taken in the raid within the small housing complex.
