Police have revealed that Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is under investigation for an alleged assault and personal property damage claim.
The Washington-based Bellevue Police Department have stated that the 28-year-old has been accused by an unspecified female victim over an alleged incident at a downtown Bellevue apartment unit during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Despite the allegation, Lynch practised with his Seahawks teammates around nine hours after the incident supposedly took place.
Bellevue PD spokesman Seth Tyler told the Seattle Times: "At this point, this is only an allegation. We haven't even verified that Mr Lynch was involved."
The police report has also said that no domestic violence or sexual assault were alleged and that no arrests have been made.
